Use a secure counter edge.
Practice at a stable, load-bearing, dry 90-degree counter edge that properly fits the trainer. The broad palm surface helps avoid direct contact with the hard edge; check both trainers before use.
PUSH-UP TRAINING THAT STARTS WHERE YOU ARE
The Vsique® helps beginners learn push-up technique from a standing position on a secure countertop, while giving users at other fitness levels options to progress to more challenging angles.
Its wide, angled palm platform is designed to spread contact across the fleshy part of your hand, rather than relying on a narrow bar-style handle.

THE ORIGINAL WOODEN DESIGNWHY IT'S DIFFERENT
Designed for different starting abilities—from beginners learning their first standing push-ups to experienced users exploring harder angles. Its broad, angled palm platform fits suitable, stable 90-degree counter edges and offers an alternative to narrow bar-style grips.
The wide platform supports the fleshy portion of the palm, spreading contact over a broader area than a narrow handle.
The broad, angled contact surface provides a larger supporting area under the hand, offering an alternative to bar-style handles.
Your fingers and forearm muscles help maintain placement and control during each repetition.
Begin with standing or elevated push-ups at a manageable angle, then progress toward lower supports as your technique develops.
THE FIRST STEP IS THE EASY ONE
Standing and elevated push-ups can reduce the portion of body weight you press compared with floor push-ups—making them a practical way to develop technique and start building upper-body and core strength.

Practice at a stable, load-bearing, dry 90-degree counter edge that properly fits the trainer. The broad palm surface helps avoid direct contact with the hard edge; check both trainers before use.

Stand back, keep your body aligned, bend your elbows under control, and press away. Start with a manageable number of repetitions.

As you gain control, progress from counter-height to lower stable supports—then to floor exercises if appropriate.
Around your day: Suitable counters and work surfaces can create short standing push-up sessions at home, work, or while traveling. Use only surfaces that are safe and appropriate for exercise.
BEGINNER-FIRST TRAINING
Push-ups do not have to begin on the floor. Start standing at a secure, elevated support, practice body alignment and control, and build up repetitions or lower the support height as your technique improves.
PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD
The progression is simple: choose a comfortable angle, build consistent form, then gradually add challenge. There is no universal starting repetition count.
Begin with a secure countertop setup and use a comfortable incline to learn pressing mechanics.
Try a lower, stable support when your strength, balance, and technique allow it.
More demanding variations are available once you've built control and can exercise safely.
Standing press-style and shoulder-focused variations may be explored by changing body position and angle, provided the placement is secure and the exercise suits your ability. The main goal is to learn and improve push-up technique.

THE ESSENTIALS
Learn how the original trainer fits into a gradual routine, and what to check before exercising.

That's the idea behind the standing-first progression. Elevated positions can reduce relative loading so you can practice alignment and pressing mechanics before attempting lower positions. Start only at a level appropriate for you.
The angled surface is designed to spread contact across the fleshy portion of your palm instead of focusing contact on a narrow cylindrical handle. Fingers can contribute to positioning and control, but pain relief or particular strength gains are not guaranteed.
The design supports standing push-up use at suitable 90-degree edges, including certain countertops and desks. Always check that the surface is sturdy, fixed, dry, appropriately sized, and can safely bear exercise forces. Do not use glass, unstable furniture, slippery finishes, or an edge that does not fit securely.
For some people, high repetition counts may become a personal goal over time. Begin with a comfortable number, prioritize controlled form, and build gradually with appropriate recovery. One hundred daily repetitions is not a universal recommendation or a promised outcome.
Inspect the original wooden trainers and their anti-slip contact points before each use. Verify fit and stability on the chosen surface. Keep weight controlled, avoid abrupt loading and unstable setups, and stop if you experience pain, slipping, or discomfort. If you have an injury or medical concern, seek individualized professional advice before exercising.
It is portable for suitable exercise settings at home, work, or while traveling. A secure and appropriately load-bearing surface is essential; the fact that a surface is available does not make it safe for exercise.
